    Golden Jubilee Reunion

This is it. 50 years on!

We plan to all be in London on 7 May for the IC Alumni Day.

Other fun will be organised and listed here in due course. It seems we may have a VIP visit as well as 100% living member attendance. Watch this space.

  • Guilds Film

The 8mm film shot in 64/65 was unearthed by David Bishop in his parents attic. He had the films scanned and compiled the digital edition shown below. Various Elecsix were involved including JS, RW, RL and (briefly) RD. Dave Chow, known to us all, features as the token foreigner!

  • IC Alumni Meeting Planned for May 2014

The group were notified of the date of the IC Alumni weekend planned for May 2014. It was hinted that the event would make a suitable excuse for a long overdue get-together.

Unusually, all living members replied, but there were differences as summarized in a response to all as follows

In answer to the several questions

    • me, flea and chair could make it. rw was indecisive. rest did not reply.
    • Yes, it was good fun last year, but
    • I checked today and the bun-fights are now fully booked. There is not much point going for other than the bun-fights. So I suggest we try again next year.

    Meanwhile

    • Yes, i gather rw was nearly flooded, but he kept his finger in the dyke all January
    • Winter in the Alps was excellent with loads of good snow and sunshine
    • The Test Matches in Australia were a big disappointment
    • Someone should organise a minor get together this year
    • Hope you are all well.
    • I survived a 70th birthday party. But it was not a “surprise” as I had guessed I was 70 from looking at my birth certificate!
    • rw mum has just turned 100!

and writing all this news reminds me I should get the EE66 website up again and then all the news could go there. I might have a go with WordPress (for those who know about these things)

    All the best
